Summertime and the living is easy

We've had a great summer so far and it can only get better. We've played some rockin' shows to our amazing fans and released some new tunes along the way. We're looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

What's up BIT Fans

We had some great shows in the past month including one where we got to celebrate a Blackhawks Stanley Cup championship. The new tunes have been getting a great response from the crowds and we're looking forward to play some other new material soon. We're sad to hear the awful news of Goose Island Wrigleyville being forced to shut down due to the "malling" that's going on near Wrigley Field. We have a show coming up Friday July 23rd at Goose Island and we plan to rock the place out. Hope to see you there!

Long time no chat

We've been missing you and wanted to give an update on the band. We've had some great accomplishments lately with our song "Wiser" getting some airplay in Chicago and we're hoping to expand on that a bit more. We're working on some great things and new tunes for our upcoming shows so please stay tuned.

"Wiser" was played on the radio this past weekend

Thank you Richard Milne @ WXRT for playing "Wiser" on Local Anesthetic Sunday night. It will also be played Tuesday evening at 8:55 PM and Thursday evening at 10:55PM. We appreciate the support of local music from WXRT and we hope you guys listen in.

Thank you to our fans

Thank you for all who came out for our CD release show at Goose Island last week. We couldn't have asked for a better turnout. We had a blast playing for some new fans and we hope to see you at our upcoming shows. Don't hesitate to go spread the word about us and we'll continue to work on great music for all to enjoy. Butterfly In Traffic is...

Vocalist/guitarist, Ed Gershon, drummer, Grant Niebergall, guitarist, Thomas Ott and bassist, Matt Moreno. Hailing from Chicago, these eclectic gentlemen formed a band in 2009 after a series of serendipitous events.
